MAP & Online Sales Policy
At Gentlemen Republic, protecting the value of our brand and the success of our authorized partners is a top priority. To ensure fair competition and preserve brand integrity, we have established clear policies regarding MAP (Minimal Advertising Price) and online sales authorization.
MAP Enforcement
All authorized retailers and distributors are required to sell Gentlemen Republic products at or above our established MAP. Undercutting the MAP devalues the brand, confuses customers, and negatively impacts all sellers across our network.
If you are found selling below MAP, you may be subject to warnings, removal from our authorized seller list, or termination of your distribution agreement.
What You Need to Do
If you are currently selling, or plan to sell, Gentlemen Republic products online:
- Contact us at contact@gentlemenrepublic.com
- Provide your online platform or website details
- Wait for written approval before listing any Gentlemen Republic products online.
Failure to comply may result in loss of distribution rights and financial penalties, as outlined in your agreement.
🌐 Online Sales Policy – Registration Required
We’ve seen an increase in unauthorized online listings and pricing violations. As a result, any distributor or retailer wishing to sell Gentlemen Republic products online must register with us first.
Selling online without prior approval is a violation of your agreement and may result in immediate termination and damages.
Quoting the Agreement:
Section 3 – Restrictions on Online Sales
“DISTRIBUTOR may not sell the Products on Amazon, eBay, Walmart, or any other third-party e-commerce platform or website without the prior written consent of the COMPANY... DISTRIBUTOR must register its website with the COMPANY... and obtain COMPANY’s advance written approval... Breach of this paragraph may result in immediate termination and liquidated damages of $10,000.”
Section 4 – Authorized Sales Channels
“COMPANY authorizes DISTRIBUTOR to sell the Products only at and to brick-and-mortar store locations, unless... authorized in writing to sell online. No changes shall be allowed without express written authorization.”
